So what do you guys (and of course DC) think of a reputation / +1 / Thumb up - down / unlike / hate / -1 button ?

Why? It can be used to mark very useful, amazing, funny,[whateveryouwant] posts, which can then be easily spotted because of a large of +1 or -1(for stupid useless spam posts, which can also make it easier for admins in some cases)

Here's an idea of what it can look like ( Quick whip with photoshop, GIMP and an html/php edit - forgot to add a -1 and chose rep +1 between the others):

Just a suggestion

Suggestions for improvements of the Idea are very welcome ( And if so awesome, will be added to this post)

Another thing can be done : simple maths ; for example if there was 2 rep+, you can kill them with 2 Rep - ..

Everyone can be IP banned but there are a lot of IP changer programs-browsers.
So those spammer bastards (i mean who attacking the ?US.de) maybe you? maybe me? maybe Joaopcvcastro, maybe Yoko.

Example, i can get a fake IP and make a spam rain.

I can register new account in 5 minutes (just in case DC bans me again, my original oxytamine account got banned, you know) and I still won't be caught. And I'll tell you what, it's not that hard to change IP. For me, at least. I try not to show my real IP at all, so I change IP every 30 minutes or something.

This idea is just a bad idea. More kids will sign up for this forum, that would really suck. Also I predict something like "hey you I've got over 9000 reputation, and you've got only 2, you suck". Eh.

And by the way, there are dynamic IP's. And they change everyday by itself.

But it changes only last two numbers. The ironic side of subnetwork ban is that most of your neighbors will be banned to, if they use the same provider as you (just because their IPs start from 123.456, just like yours).
